We’re thrilled to share the exciting news with you – the wait is finally over! Last month, the highly anticipated Whole Foods Market opened its doors at 2740 Monroe Ave., Brighton, becoming the first of its kind in the Rochester area.
Spanning an impressive 50,000 square feet, the Brighton store serves as the anchor of a $39 million plaza developed by Daniele Family Companies. What makes it even more special is the emphasis on locally produced goods, with over 500 regional or locally sourced items available. From coffee by Bold & Gritty to sauces from Rubino’s Italian Foods, pasta from Bozza’s to kombucha from Katboocha, Whole Foods proudly supports the vibrant Rochester community.
It’s worth noting that the Brighton location has provided employment opportunities for 128 individuals, with 114 being local hires and the remaining team members transferring from other Whole Foods sites.
