Since its inception in 2021, the 13thirty Cancer Connect team tennis tournament has grown to become a summer milestone on the Rochester area tennis calendar. With the support of our sponsors, volunteers, donors, and players, a total of $25,000 has been raised to benefit 13thirty.

Good Afternoon,

I’ve been working on a project for our business park in Medina, NY. We are working on developing an Industrial Manufacturing & Innovation Center. We are targeting attraction projects and an Incubator for start up food and beverage restaurants/bakeries.

I have gone ahead and attached a drawing of the building in what we are hoping to accomplish. As of right now we are just looking at getting high level cost proposals.

Total square footage of the building is 40,000. You will see the parking lot and design has been placed in there as well as the loading dock area. Here is a brief description of the attributes we are looking for.

30,000 sq ft Industrial manufacturing area:
-30 ft ceilings
-3 loading dock doors/bays
-a combination of masonry and steel siding
-Interior unfinished and can be an open canvas for prospective manufactures
-Seperate entrance from office as this will be a seperate user

10,000 sq ft office/ Kitchen incubator
-Open area for reception
-Conference room for up to 15 people
-2 small offices
-3 incubator commercial kitchens(est 1,000 sq ft per)
-Dry storage area
-Walk in refrigeration unit

My name is Rebecca Lepel and I am a parent volunteer with Fyle Parent Group. The students are gearing up for their annual fundraiser, Operation Kindness-powered by Raise Craze. This is not a traditional fundraiser. The kids will not be selling anything. Instead they will be completing acts of kindness and hoping the community will be inspired to make financial contributions to the parent group.

During Operation Kindness 2023, the children completed over 2,500 acts of kindness. These acts ranged from big to small but each one made a difference. Below are SOME of the community recipients of these acts of kindness:

Henrietta Senior Center : St Patrick’s and Easter themed placemats
Fire and Sheriff Departments : Thank you cards
First Responders: Appreciation cards

Operation Kindness was also featured by News10 and 13 Wham, focused on all the kindness Fyle Elementary students were doing for the community.

Fyle parent group strives to have the focus of Operation Kindness be the acts of kindness and the impact our students can have in their communities. However, it is ultimately a fundraiser with monetary goals. The funds raised continue to provide opportunities for inclusion, family involvement and teacher support. Last year the Parent Group donated flexible platform/risers to the music room. An investment that the kids are using everyday.
